NASCAR and WSC Sports broaden their collaboration to improve the NASCAR Mobile App.

NASCAR's mobile app is undergoing a significant transformation following the announcement by the governing body of a new feature for fans.

WSC Sports, a longstanding partner of NASCAR, will provide technology to generate in-app stories for fans using the company's AI software. This new in-app experience is poised to greatly enhance NASCAR's mobile app, which has seen a surge in user numbers.

These stories, already accessible on the NASCAR app, will be found under the "Weekend Schedule" tab and resemble the format of Instagram or Snapchat stories. The feature will include in-race highlights for all three top-tier NASCAR divisions.

Wyatt Hicks, vice president of digital media for NASCAR, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with WSC Sports, stating, "NASCAR’s unique style of close, side-by-side racing delivers plenty of highlight-reel moments each week and In-App Stories are an ideal way for us to deliver the type of compelling content fans crave on mobile." He added, "We’re eager to continue collaborating with WSC Sports and building deeper connections with NASCAR fans around the world."

WSC Sports previously collaborated with both NASCAR and the NTT IndyCar Series. The Tel Aviv-headquartered company utilizes AI technology to swiftly deliver highlights for these series.

As part of this announcement, NASCAR stated that the expansion of its partnership with WSC Sports "aligns with NASCAR's ongoing brand revival and growth over the past few years, which includes rises in unique users, visits, and page views within the NASCAR Mobile app since the beginning of 2024."
